-What is the difference between raw hair and virgin hair?
Technically, there is no difference. However, the term "virgin hair" has been widely misused in the industry to describe hair that has been chemically processed. To differentiate true unprocessed hair from imitation virgin hair, honest companies now use the term "raw hair" to signify hair in its purest state.

 

-What is the difference between the ELITE and LUXE collections?
Both collections feature 100% raw, single-donor hair, but the key difference lies in the texture and processing:

  • The ELITE Collection offers pure, unprocessed raw hair in its natural state — straight, wavy, or curly. The texture has not been altered in any way, making it ideal for clients who want the most authentic, untouched hair available. It can be bleached up to 613 and lasts over 5 years with proper care.
  • The LUXE Collection also uses raw, single-donor hair, but it is steam or lightly chemically processed to achieve specific curl patterns (like 3C, Afro Kinky, or Kinky Straight). These textures mimic natural hair types while still maintaining the high quality of raw hair. Luxe wigs can also be bleached to 613 and last up to 3+ years with proper care.

 

-What is single donor hair?
Single donor means each bundle comes from one person. This guarantees purity and authenticity. Because no two donors are identical, slight variations in color and texture are natural and expected — a true sign of unprocessed human hair. Despite these differences, the bundles will blend beautifully for a flawless, natural finish.

 

-Do you sell Brazilian, Peruvian, or Malaysian hair?
No. These labels typically refer to processed hair from China. BYBIOLA offers only raw, authentic, single-donor hair from India.

 


CARE & MAINTENANCE

 

-How long does the hair last?
Human hair has no expiration date. With proper care — especially if left unprocessed — your hair can last many years, even 5+ years in some cases.

 

-How do I take care of raw hair properly?

  • Co-wash your hair as soon as you receive it using warm water and a sulfate-free conditioner
  • Rinse with cold water to seal in moisture
  • Never detangle dry hair — spritz with water and gently finger-detangle
  • Raw hair requires regular moisture. Co-wash once a week, and moisturize daily

-What products can I use on my BBH?
Use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners with labels like “moisture,” “moisture repair,” “curly hair,” or “hydra.” Avoid sulfates. Do not oversaturate your hair with oils. For more care tips, refer to our Hair Care Guide.

 

-Why does my hair come with split ends?
Split ends are common in authentic raw hair. Most native donors do not trim their hair regularly. You may trim the ends upon receiving your hair to maintain its integrity and prevent further splitting.

 


WIGS & INSTALLATION

 

-Are your wigs glueless?
Yes. All BYBIOLA wigs are designed to be glueless, with an adjustable elastic band and combs for secure, comfortable wear. No glue or adhesive needed — perfect for beginners or anyone avoiding damaging installs.

 

-Are your wigs beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. Our wigs are designed for both new and experienced wearers. With glueless caps, pre-customized hairlines, and breathable designs, they’re easy to wear and manage right out of the box.

 

-Do the wigs come pre-plucked and ready to wear?
Yes. All wigs are hand-customized with pre-plucked hairlines and bleached knots to give you a natural, scalp-like look. They're ready to wear with no extra customization needed.

 

-What lace do you use on your wigs?
We use HD lace on all BYBIOLA wigs. It’s thin, melts beautifully into the skin, and is undetectable on all skin tones — ideal for flawless, glueless wear.

 

-Can I wear my wig every day?
Yes. Our wigs are crafted for daily wear. They are breathable, lightweight, and securely fitted. With proper care, your wig will stay fresh and beautiful throughout regular use.

 

-How do I store my wig properly?
Store it on a wig stand or mannequin head when not in use to maintain its shape. Avoid direct sunlight and damp environments. For travel, use a satin or silk storage bag to protect the unit.

 

-Can I straighten or curl the wigs?
Yes. All BYBIOLA wigs are made from 100% raw hair, meaning you can use heat styling tools.
However, if your wig is from the LUXE Collection, keep in mind that the curls were created through steam or light chemical processing. To maintain bounce and curl definition, we do not recommend regular heat styling for LUXE textures.

 


COLORING & CUSTOMIZATION

 

-Can the hair be colored or bleached?
Yes. Our raw hair can be bleached up to 613, colored, or toned. That said, coloring and bleaching should be done professionally to maintain the integrity of your investment. After any chemical treatment, we recommend deep conditioning and regular moisturizing to maintain softness and strength.

 

-Why are my bundles slightly different in color?
Each bundle comes from a single donor, so slight differences in color are natural. Shades range from natural dark brown (#1B) to natural light brown (#2). We do our best to match bundles within your order. If you want a uniform shade, you may safely use box dye to even out the color.
